I'm interested in your plan. And I know some information about Miles Driver.
You may try to find two files, named DMKIT.ZIP and DGMID.ZIP.
The Audio Solution maked them public. They are all about Miles Driver & DIGPAK
DMKIT.ZIP => you may find it in archive.orst.edu
.../archive.epas.utoronto.ca/pub/pc/ultrasound/submit
DGMID.ZIP => I'm still trying to find it. It you find it, please tell me.
Or both of them you can find it in The Audio Solution BBS. Good Luck!!!!

Subject: Tremolo/Vibrato...
Could anyone help a beginner sound card programmer? I have successfully
loaded a GUS GM patch, can play it back at any pitch (thanks to the
formulas and tables posted), but I haven't implemented vibrato or tremolo.
My experimentation with tremelo has been to use UltraVectorLinearVolume to
ramp the volume from the current to a new volume, and setting the volume
bits to bi-directional looping.
However, there are missing tables in the SDK for tremolo/vibrato. Also,
how do you put a rate in hz into the volume ramping procedures? Or do you
just put it in at hz? And the sdk says that 255 for tremolo depth means
16 dB. Well, how would you convert this to linear volume? I haven't
experimented with vibrato yet, but one thing at a time...
(If the tables are too large to post, maybe someone could upload it to
epas or archive.orst?)
